Star Trek - The Time Stealer

Yet another reissue of "The Time Stealer", in conjunction with the release of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Interesting, this photo features no Chekhov, but it does feature Yeoman Rand, rarely seen on any ST merchandise of the time. Where's that Mego doll?

I believe Chekov is occupying the lower right hand corner of the photo, in his usual bridge seat. So Power Records just failed to center the photo, hence Rand gets more "face" time. Heck, the whole photo needs re positioning...it's not even "squared up" at the top!

This is the one and only Star Trek record I ever owned. And I never even played it all the way thru when I discovered it wasn't Shatner, Nimoy, etc doing the voices. These are good stories but as a 8 or 9 year old kid I was greatly disappointed in this and never gave it a chance after the first 2 minutes. -- Mike B.

Chris, the bald lady was sitting in the seat opposite Sulu in that photo, and I think Chekov was standing behind her. Either way, they didn't make the cut.

I heard the Star Trek Power Records long before I saw a live action Star Trek, so I don't think it could have occurred to me that the "real" actors weren't on the record.
